To create a leather that’s lighter, more waterproof and more sustainable, we worked with a tannery in the Netherlands to reinvent the way leather is tanned and used. We started with a calfskin leather from northern Europe – the best hides we can find and a farming byproduct.

We use a tanning technology that uses only the water in the hide, minimising waste water and chemical use. The result is a buttery smooth leather that feels like no other. Light yet tough, it acquires a beautiful patina over time.
